After clearing up some mis-communication with friends in Japan:o, here are the photos that go with my previous post's quote;
The clouded pattern is more apparent in these photos and the only marking I can see other than the Japanese red circle on the wings is something midway on the fuselage between the canopy and rudder. Anyone care to take it from here? Chris |

This would be a nice-looking airplane! I hope all this research culminates in the development of a model. It seems like the kind of thing that would be right down the alley of someone like Roman or Marek.

I'd love to see Marek or Roman take a shot at this one. Heck, I'd love to see anyone take a shot at it!
Going through the online sources, I found this one that has a slightly "cloudy" feel to the scheme. I'm assuming that the planes were painted in Germany?? Just reaching here. No real info to support that. Still, I'd love to see this plane become a detailed 1:33 paper kit. There are a number of schemes to choose from, if any of you designers are looking! ... and my favorite; Anyway, I can dream, can't I? Chris |

Silly question
Since I work sooo slow (to enjoy more) I have run into problems with the carburetor air intake skin on the Ju 87 B-2 (R-2). Thank you CJWalas for showing your interpretation of the "instructions" and thank you for the picture (#3 below).
My attempt was to form the intake skin 2a, have the aft edge match the carburetor with the forward edge to match the airplane skin. I then trimmed the left hand and right hand to match the airplane skin. I hope the pictures work this time. My question for you experts is this an acceptale approach?? What should be done better??? The pilot is from a free download and will have a companion in the rear seat. Both will be removable untill i fingure out what needs to be done(not dumb!) bob neill |

Hey, Bob. Your's looks great and a lot straighter than mine! I found that to be the single most difficult assembly to get right on the model (and it shows!:o). As far as I'm concerned (and I'm no expert) any way that section can be gotten together is the right way. It's easier on the GPM models, but it's still a tricky assembly. I love the idea of putting a flight crew in. I keep telling myself I'm going to do the same, but just never seem to get around to it.
I look forward to seeing the rest of your build come together. Please be sure to post pics! Chris |

The only other way I could see to do that part would be to shape it into the template shape, glue it onto part #2 and then pinch the front flat and form it into the circle. Either way looks like it's not perfect - and your method came out good

Sorry that I failed to mention that the air crew came from John F Griffin as PILOT USAAF EUROPEAN THEATRE WWII. Thanks for the encouragement
