Glen -- I am definitely interested in hearing more about the future work on the "Ermine."

And I am thoroughly enjoying watching all these Marek models being built, even if my own progress is very very very slow. I own most of the 1/50 models being built and some of the 1/33s and expect to build many of them over the next several months. Not just the Japanese aircraft, but also the three Russian 1/50 fighters, the LaGG, this La-5, and the Yak-3, which are all airplanes that appeal to me.

Incidentally, although I should enter it properly in the Birding Fun thread, I have to mention that we had a rose-breasted grosbeak at the feeder this afternoon. First back yard sighting in several years.

Don

I'm thinking about the La5 Wak has did Carl do a build thread on that one?
Seems I recall one, but not sure.
Amazing as it may sound, today we had our first Black-headed grosbeak of the year at the feeder, which is the Western counterpart to yours! Today! We do see them all season, but the feeder is dominated by a flock of Red wings today, although the Song sparrow and the chipmunk like that, (they spill alot on the ground).

Thank you Barry! Dan, thanks as well, was a fun build. Seems easier smaller scale for some reason, maybe the comparatively thicker card per size model?
