Marek Marathon MC 202 1:50

Not a build thread; just a build review, I guess.
I've always liked the look of this plane, very sleek for its day. The fuselage went together well.

I put in a clear canopy; there's no interior, but I still think the clear canopy looks better than the blue paper.

The only problem I had with the kit is the center section of the wing/fuselage. It was very tight, but it did fit.

It finished off nicely and is a good representation of the prototype, IMHO.

It's a pity that there's no interior. This is a nice looking model and an interior would really move it up a notch.

I've always liked this airplane, too, Chris.

As always, you did a superb job.

Thumbs up

Nice build! Thanks for sharing, I ended up with warped wings at my attempt.

Looks good Chris, I like the canopy. To be honest not much interior is really visable at this size, without readers anyway

Yes, I can see how that is easy to do. It was a bit of a battle getting the wings on this one to behave and getting that odd center section fitted out properly was the biggest challenge. Better instructions would help!
