buffalowings: For brown fuselage I used brown wash Citadel miniatures paint - a very thin acrylic paint, used for painting wargaming miniatures. For black I was using a black waterproof marker, though someone lately told me that they change colour with age, so now I use black acrylic paint. If there were other colours I painted the edges with appropriate acrylic paints.

I discovered GifSoup - a free online tool allowing for creation of animated gifs out of youtube movies. So my first trial of this:

My 4sec movie on youtube showing Morane Saulnier rotating engine is perfect for this.
