Hi Ralf,
Sorry if I have not replied to you sooner...I won't make any excuses... I should be able to turn up the Kormoran plans, but from memory they are not very good, but if you want me to have a look - let me know and I'll get back to you soonest. Was there another ship you asked me for plans of - a Spanish one. BigBenn |

Perfectly alright, my good man. No apologies necessary.
cgutzmer wanted the Spanish Caravelle. If you get around to it, have a look for the Komoran plans. I'm still interested, but I am in no hurry. Ralf |

Hi Ralf,
Since my last e.mail to you, I have since obtained an Italian PDF of the Kormoran as she was in full colours (Side & Deck views) but I don't have hull shapes so far, still cargo ships of that period all had similar hull cross sections and so on. My plan of the Kormoran show what armament was inside the hull and in the superstructure. By combining both, you should be able to make a really impressive model, especially if you have doors which open to turn the Kormoran from an unimpressive merchantman into a lethal killer. Since the stuff I recently got on the Kormoran is in PDF format, I think the best way for me to send the package to you would be by download from Rapidshare or Hotfile or somewhere like that and I will scan my pages of the Kormoran and add them to the package so you get maximum detail. The RAR file might be around 60mb to 100mb. Of course, it is my policy to provide the plans for free.......... Pity no one is making a paper kit of the Kormoran - there is easily enough stuff here to have a go. Richard |
