Micro-mini contest idea, hmm...
Sounds like the TWE tiny challenge back in the olden days (that would be 2006) to me, doesn't it?

Back then the contest rules were

and as far as I remember, this was all we needed (or let it be 50% this time, it's not such a big difference, after all). Dime, penny and cubic inch rules might sound spectacular, but they frighten off too many people a priori. Trust me, contestants will seek their personal limits anyway, no matter what the actual rules are!

No, in that challenge the host also participated. What is the point of challenging people to do something you cannot yourself do?

Also, will you be considering photography as part of your judging criteria?

Who says I am not going to participate?! I already have a model in mind to use and I am almost done with my current build for the swannys competition

Given its a micro contest photography is KEY - even a little blur will wreck the shot

Besides ample light and macro mode got any suggestions?
