MM Aviation Contest PZL P.11c
I always liked the look of this fighter but never got around to actually build it - there was always some other plane who grabbed my attention...
Well, another MM contest and I just couldn't pass on this opportunity to finally start this little gem... Model has number 9/2003 and was designed by Pawel Mistewicz. In addition to basic kit, designer provided some extra parts for the cockpit, separate control surfaces and more detailed wheels to make it more chalenging.

Very nice option. I like this plane and specially the wings. I've the Halinski version but I think for now is far from my builder ability.
I'm going to follow you thread with a lot of interest. |

This model offers good graphics and decent level of detail to have a good looking plane buildable in few weeks instead of a year

This is certainly the most famous, and among the most attractive, of the PZL fighters. Good choice, Mike. It will look good among those Japanese and U.S. fighters in your stable of builds.

I will freely admit that there is certain attractivness to those wings...
I will beat everybody and say it first - IT DOES LOOK LIKE An upside-down CORSAIR! :D

I will watch this one with interest, Michael. I do hope to build this kit as well. It looks to be a good model and certainly was a popular kit subject. I think MM did this one four or five times?

Don't know how many issues exactly, but certainly there were a few of them and not only in MM...
Few words to help others building this plane: - follow numerical sequence - * means that the part should be laminated with 1mm card - part number in blue - additional parts for the more detailed build - part number in red - glue to this part Now something to prove that I started the model

Cockpit is ready.
The step in the fuselage is marked only as a black square so I decided to open it up. There is no color surplus provided in the kit, but since I will do separate control surfaces, I could use parts that will be cut off and discarded from the rudder. Padding on the edge of the cockpit is supposed to be done with card but I chose to use the black insulation from electrical wire - much, much nicer looking :D
