Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. I think for the propeller spinner, I will make one from wood so it looks smoother. Nice discussions about this aircraft. No one talking about the jet version concept? Sort of like Luft 46 of Japanese aircraft. Thanks again Isaac |

Nobody denies the fact that Germany had some very interesting ideas. Difference is that most of those planes never made it past the concept phase and Shinden actually flew.
Right form the start Japanese engineers planned to use a jet engine for the Shinden and the piston driven version was sort of a stop-gap measure until they could get one.

If anyone willing to design a jet conversion for this aircraft, I would modify my kit for a beta build. I will wait for responses before I start it ( or I may build both versions ).
