Resizing help.
Hello to all, and best wishes to everyone.
I was not sure where to post this so please forgive my faux par if any. I have downloaded a couple of PDF Build plans of tanks and so on to get me started in Paper modelling. I would like to resize some of these plans to fit with my model rail road and my other dioramas but when I try to open them in Photoshop I am always asked to input a password as these PDF docs are locked. Is this a problem with my photoshop or is it a copyright thing? It seams a shame I can not fix them to the size I want. I have also had problems with things downloaded for Papakura as they a locked in letter printer format and can not be altered to fit A4. Where am I going wrong?

You could try opening up the PDF on its own and then using the "snapshot" tool (under the tools button) to copy it to the clipboard so you can paste it into whatever graphics program you're using.

You could try PDF995 software. It is a printer driver that can convert any .pdf into an image (.bmp, .jpg, .png, .tiff) which can be saved. It is free but will nag you to buy.
