Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI Bomber Beta Model by murphyaa

And here are two photos of the beautiful huge 1:6 scale model that resides in the Zeppelin-Museum in Friedrichshafen:

What a sight it must be to behold:

Thanks Billy!! Very impressive I must say!
I can't wait to try my hands at this but I'll have to wait since I'm currently working on a 1/72 Handley-Page 0/400.

By the way, what is the scale of the Zeppelin-Staaken?

I don't know. I never got around to calculating the scale.

I've got this plane repainted and wings grouped as board and starboard ones, but at the scale of 1/200. There's not too much guesswork to do though, it would be nice to have the instruction sheet to make things easier. So, if anyone wishes to try, have fun!

Great work Papermate!! Thanks. If you build this please post pics of finished model.

I have ultimate plans on doing this at 1/72 scale if possible but that may be a bit of a challenge for me!! Probably I would build at 1/200 using your repaints initially just to get a good idea of how this thing is going to work out.

Hi bjosey, thanks. I suggest that you can upscale it to 1/72 and see how it goes. I'm sure either Billy or Aaron would give advices along the way.

I'm not sure how much information I can give. this one was way out of my skill level to build. plus it was a while ago.

I got as far as the interior like in the picture of it, I used that as guideline , it shows quite well where all the parts go, it fitted alright.
@ papermate, did you use the templates from this one? and if so, can you color the 'big' ones too?
