I don't know what I did to you to cause you to go on such personal attacks against me, Mr. Cardmodellover, but they won't work anymore. Especially since your emails now go straight to the spam folder. You're gonna have to come out of your basement into the sunlight if you want to continue.

Aaron my friend, I not only like your designs, I think you have a real talent for designing, and that you choose unusual aircraft and design great models of them.
And I'll share something here in public, that most readers/members here won't know of me.
Aaron: it was watching you design and post those fine results in your many threads as well as in this one; that got me interested in designing, and believing that yes, maybe I could learn to design models too. Not to go into competition with you, but rather to design a few models I had ideas for. So, Aaron my friend, watching your designing career has inspired me to try designing. And THAT is something I never had thought I'd do.
Therefore, Aaron my friend, please keep on with your designing of the fine models you design and create.

I saw your render of the Hs. P.135, and would greatly like to see that aircraft emerge as a model. Alongside it, perhaps Lippisch's P.12, the curvy cousin? I know the P.12 will be hard to design, precisely because of all the interrelated curves, but it would also be a unique model, because I don't recall it existing anywhere in paper. Probably because the only known photos of the original model are so few, and hard to find, though one appears in Mano Zeigler's "Rocket Fighter".

At any rate, once I can afford them I'll be purchasing your entire set of models, simply because I admire them so very much.

Kind and Respectful Regards Aaron my friend, Uyraell.

PS: Added a few P.12 image links.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I was just letting my antifan know I won't be getting his emails anymore, so he can stop sending them and go on to more productive things, like picking lice off his friends.

After a lengthy design and beta process, the Zeppellin Staaken is finally ready to be released. I'll email both versions in as soon as I get home from this interview.

That's probably why there are few models of it, paper or plastic.
Aaron-
This post was brought to my attention by another member, and I want to start by congratulating you on your efforts to produce the Spruce Goose model in such a large scale!

Despite impressions, Evergreen is not out to stomp on the hobbyist, and the main point of the museum holding the trade mark to the name "Spruce Goose" is to keep large operations like Mattel or Hasbro (trademarked names) from doing a Spruce Goose toy and selling them to every Toys R' Us (another trademarked name) on the planet without talking to us first. In most cases, if it's something good, we're going to want it for our gift shop, too!

Along that line, I would like to talk with you off line, about the possiblity of perhaps swapping some CDs of the model that we could sell in the gift shop in exchange for the permission to use the Spruce Goose name. This could possibly lead to sales of models of others of the 133 different aircraft in our collection. You can contact me at stewart.bailey(at)sprucegoose.org.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to talking with you!

All the best,

P.S. Just FYI, I am a modeler too... mostly plastic but I do make paper models of my other passion; Civil War Ironclads. So I know where you are coming from...

Hi Aaron,

I sent you the money by PayPal for the two DVD + the goose.

Can you give me a time line on when I might receive them?

You do great work.

I'm gonna be real busy for the next couple days getting ready to start truck driving school, but I should be able to get it out on friday. i've swapped emails with stewart, and we're working out a deal so I can use the Spruce Goose name with permission, and maybe get my model dvd's into their giftshop.
