Here's the first version of the Focke-Wulf 1000x1000x1000 project, so named because the specification was to carry 1000kg of bombs 1000km at 1000kph.

Very B47-looking, in may ways.
Certainly a very neat looking model, well up to Aaron's usual high standards. I'm glad to see this version of the 1000x1000x1000 Projekt built. Most pictures I have found tend to be of the Junkers 6-engine Flying Wing concept for the same Projekt. You've certainly turned out a fine build of a neat model, of an aircraft not usually seen modelled. Kind and Respectful Regards Josh my friend, Uyraell.

I'm running out of Luft '46 ideas. I've got the Heinkel He 111 and 111Z done, and I started on the Messerschmitt Me 110. After that, I'm not sure which way to head. Maybe I'll drop in and see what the Japs had to offer in '46.

Hey Aaron, check your e-mail and here's a link to a website that has TONS of Luft 46' planes you could try out Luft '46 - WWII German aircraft projects All the main manufacturers are on the left. Plus, they all have a three-view within each plane's page.

That's where I've gotten most of my ideas. I've used up most of the interesting and designable ones from there.
Here's an interesting thought... Is there a Japanese version of the Luft '46 (Jap '46??) site that lists any Japanese planes that were in the pipeline towards the end of the war? Last edited by murphyaa; 06-02-2012 at 08:15 PM. |

Aaron, how about a series of US spy planes from the Cold War, that haven't been yet been released as card models?
The ones that I know of that have been released are the SR-71 and the U-2, although I think there is room for a better U-2 than what is already available. The RB-57F also has no decent model available. It's even still flying with NASA and I bet those would be very popular as there are a lot of NASA collectors out there. Just my 2 cents, SFX |
