About a week ago. I thought I could go to a temp place here, and since it's a big city, there would be lots of work.

Pfff, that idea didn't last long. I managed to stretch the last of my money out 2 weeks, then it dried up. Now I'm riding around the city applying at anywhere that looks like they might be hiring, and a few that don't.

Everybody says hang on it'll get better. I'm not seeing it. I just see things getting worse.

What really stinks is I had 3 versions of the F-16XL ready to go, just waiting on a beta build to make sure they were buildable, when my laptop went. I'd done a backup, but only of the first version. I still have the Rhino model, so it's not a great loss.

don't worry about the models right now...thats just a worry that serves no purpose.
some stresses you have to deal with, but the model stuff is not one of those!

when you get sorted out, you can refocus on dealing with models.

Like Airdave said you come first. The models will come later. I personally want you to take care of you. That is number one on your list. This will pass.

Modelling has always been my best stress reliever. Without it, I feel like I'm gonna boil over soon.

I tried changing locations, but it only worked until the town got destroyed. Then I changed back.

I'm gonna try something though. My family has been telling me nonstop that I need to start going back to church since all this started. The whole "God can't help you if you don't help yourself, and the first step is showing him you're willing to go to church."

So I did. Then I went in and talked to the Bishop. He said "If you come to church every sunday, and on every saturday to help clean the building, we'll put you in an apartment and provide food. You just have to find the cheapest place that includes a kitchenette and utilities." I'm thinking an extended stay hotel, because it'll hace everything, including cable and wifi.

Plus the church has an employment specialist I can talk to who will help me find a job.

Keeping my fingers crossed I can do this...
