Oh, i saw that Long EZ flying over my house once. I heard it approach and went to check the skies. Not really a plane spotter, but I could tell it was a different aircraft then what normally flies around here (the regular high and low wing sport flyers).

I've never seen a Long EZ in person, but I can imagine it would make an impression. I keep holding the model up and imagining it as some space fighter. I might have to do a BSG (Battlestar Galactica) version just because.

Here's a shot I took of one that used to be across the hangar from a plane I fly.

Is that TC's Hughes from "Magnum, P.I."?

Yes it is
but the cockpit is a bit more pointed than what the 500 looked like in the series There were two version flown in the series this one, with the V tail and later in the series, the T tail I hope this helps

I wondered about the pointy front end. Gonna have to fiddle with it a bit.

Seems the 3 view I used had a pointier nose than the Magnum chopper. Must be an different version. I flattened the nose as much as I could without using petals.
BTW... Anybody interested in the OH-6 Cayuse? I discovered it's actually an MD 500 painted OD with rockets... |

I say go for it!! and make the older V-tail and the newer T-tail, would be nice to have options. Oh and do you think you might ever get back to making the WC-54 ambulance? Awsome job on all of your new models so far!!
