I saw that one. All I need is to find out the Coast Guard used it...

From what I can find, Only the USAF, Navy, and Marines used it officially in the US. But it was also flown in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Sweden. I swear I saw an article in a magazine a couple years ago about Norway also having a few T-39s, but I can't find it.
I did find these fine examples of other US NAVY schemes. The super colorful one is a Navy Centennial scheme. There are also many civilian schemes as possibilities too. |

Got tired of the Sabreliner after 2 versions, so I'm thinking of opening it up to a repaint contest, plus repaints of any other models anybody wants to contribute.
Meanwhile, here's a commission from a while ago I've been working on behind the scenes (still some engineering to do on it) |

I don't always come to this thread, but when I do, there's always a great surprise waiting for me. Awesome, Aaron!

As people know, I like to keep a few projects on the go, and bounce between them to keep the frustration levels down. I found this little guy on the internet the other day Called the Gulfstream Peregrine, a prototype for a single engine military trainer that failed. When the military rejected the Peregrine Trainer, Gulfstream took the same concept, and converted it into a business jet, also called the Peregrine. Last edited by murphyaa; 01-25-2017 at 08:52 AM. |
