Something similar, like this one that I use, for the first time on aircraft models, hot laminated paper 130 gsm. Sorry, no engines and no landing gears for the time being. Suspect that it's tail heavy though I have added 5g of fishing lead bead in the nose section. Will see. It's shiny and leaves no dirty glue marks on the surface because it is a clear laminate that can be wiped with moisture. Hope to finish it before my holidays begin in mid-October.

Length should be from nose to "end" of vertical tail fin.

This picture has me itching to buy and build one of these. Really looks great.
Nice details and color. Any idea when it will be up for sale? |

Depends. I don't want to release them piecemeal, but the Dreamlifter and Flying laser need to built to verify the new parts work (the Dreamlifter extended fuselage failed miserably).

I just check both Store and Bata sites and they work fine in Firefox 56

Now the shuttle carrier has got engines. The scale should be corrected to read 1/156 if you shrink the original scale of 1/150 to 96%. In so doing, you're decreasing the size of the model to 1/156 but if you want to increase it to 1/144, you've have to upscale it to 104% of the original. Aaron, you've got the maths wrong, LOL.
BTW, some comments about using hot laminated paper. My experience is to use the thinnest paper to do the hot lamination otherwise, the laminated product will not yield as easily and obediently as normal paper. Papermate |
