We neer really did any conversions. The fuel gauges on the CRJ's read in pounds, and they requested fuel in pounds. On the ones that read in kilograms, they requested fuel in kilograms, so I just added fuel until the gauges read what they wanted. The whole "Certified" thing was because we had to use a hydrant truck to fuel them, and not everybody was trained on those. Plus Air Canada had a bunch of rules on how to approach and hook up to their planes.

In commissions you also had Lockheed Electra if I remember correctly. Is that still an upcoming project or a fail? That would be interesting subject as well.

Actually I meant model 10 Electra.I'm not pushing for it,just wondering if I should start gathering materials since model 10 has been used by LOT and few other interesting users.

Oh. Seems like Lockheed called every other model Elektra.

A brief explanation on how my brain works: Maybe not, it's too scary in there.
Every model I want to design kind of bounces around in my head as my subconscious designer tries to figure out how to make paper do the things required for each model. Every once in a while, he (my subconscious designer) has a flash of inspiration, and kind of takes over. I have no warning or idea which model until it appears in Rhino as a finished design. Which kind of explains how this appeared in the printer tray: Unfortunately my subconscious builder gave up a few years ago and moved out. I need to do some clean up and add some markings that I missed, then send it off to somebody who actually knows how to build paper models. |

Gee, I wonder how that one would look with SAR markings - maybe not. Keep up the wonderful work.
