...And by the way, unknown to many there is in fact a second AN225. It was substantially completed and apparently some of the components of the original airframe could still be used. One of the catches I understand is that the 2nd hull is different in a lot of respects and certain systems would need to be largely redesigned from the original. At the end of the day, though, this is now a gargantuan, one-off, cold war airframe with a very very limited niche market. As the saying goes, hope springs eternal!

When will I be able to buy this?!

well as far as I know. Putin is not a designer of any sort and just the putz that is running the Russians' nose first into the ground.
So I see no problems in selling/offering models of russian/soviet hardware, Murphy.

I need a bit of help. I'm working on an unspecified airplane and trying to figure out some liveries.

I've decided on three liveries: 2 American Airlines, and Airlines of Australia. Possibly Delta airlines as well if I can find enough pictures

American 1: At Mid America Flight Museum


American 2: Here's where I need help. Both have the same tail number, but the vintage photo is from here: Crash of a Stinson Model A in Chicago | Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Archives and says it was destroyed in a crash (0 fatalities) in 1936. Does anybody know what the overall color would be? According to AAs heritage site, prewar propeller aircraft had an international orange lightning bolt on the side, and I think matching flairs on the cowlings and wingtips. My thoughts are white overall.

I honestly never heard of that plane so I looked it up. Very neat design and in concept resembles Avro Anson. I didn't think tri-motors were done in US after Ford but there you have it. Stinson T was something to behold too.

I always thought the Stinson Model A was a great-looking airplane.

My parents told me about flying in Stinson low-wing trimotors from the Allegheny Airport near Pittsburgh in the late 1930s.

A Model A also played the role of a bomber in the employ of the sinister Ivan Shark in the Captain Midnight movie serial.
