Next up, the XP-79 Flying Ram.

My color cartridge ran out in my printer, so until further notice, all my builds will be monochrome plus whatever I can color blue with my only Sharpie. The actual model will come in trainer yellow.

Next I'm working on the Robinson R-22, a little known helicopter that is seen everywhere.

To CD or not to CD?

Now for a somewhat more serious question. I'm thinking of offering a CD of my models. Basically, you'd email or PM me here saying you want a CD, then send payment through Paypal. After I see the payment in Paypal, I'll snail mail the CD to you.

A couple questions I have though are; How many models is a good minimum to offer on a CD so it'll be worth it, and what would be a good price?

Right now I have 15 completed models, including the freebies, that would total out to around $40 through Ecardmodels if bought separately.

I was gonna hold out until I had 20 models (a couple weeks at the rate I'm going) before I started offering.

I live in deepest darkest Africa, shipping a CD might be pricey. I prefer the electronic download format, I get the models immediately. Either way I'm game, 15-20 models for $40, bargain!

Regards

Niki

It'd be either or. Download or CD. A CD might work for those on dial up, or want an easy almost instant backup.

And for my next release...

The Robinson, R-22, with semi detailed engine (It didn't look right with just a box).

It's not rainbow colored, I found out which color ran out first...blue.

Hmm. Maybe I'll look into getting started. Just need to get some CD-R's and labels.

Cool. Let me know if you have any problems.

Here's a tidbit for anybody interested...

I had to break the main wing into 6 sections, which will average out to about 8 inches each. I won't know the scale until I put knife to paper though.

Got sent home from work early last night, so I thought I'd get some work on the Voyager done...then finished it.

So we're looking at +/- a 48" wing span?!? Yikes.

I have to admit, she looks good.
