I only get to build on weekends. Since last weekend I was out of town, building happens this weekend. Hopefully I can finish the alpha build today.

Thanks for the update. Am looking so forward to this model. It's my favorite train model. Thanks for the update.

We interrupt this train with a brief commercial break (trains take a long time to get out, and nobody is buying them anyway) to bring an airplane model.

This plane

has been sitting at the airport near work for a couple of months now.

I put the tail number into Google, and came across something interesting: 1952 Twin Beech Aircraft Used in Ford v Ferrari Sells for a Bargain - AutoGear

Apparently it's a movie star, appearing in an episode of the TV series Crime Story, the movies Amelia Earhart: The Final Flight, Terminal Velocity, Man on the Moon, and even commercials for Pepsi, Honda, and Bud Light.
It was sold at the Barrett Jackson auto auction here in Scottsdale, and has been sitting ever since.

So i figured, since it's here, I might as well model it:

What also helps is that Pima has a ton of variants of the Model 18 / UC-45 / AT-7/11

Hmmm interesting, Murph.
Don't forget the tricycle landing gear and float variants.
