I concur....get to know those highways. I've driven so much on some back roads here in S. TX that I've already started driving them without my GPS and/or map of some sort. Hope these new experiences are being fun learning experiences for you.
How long do you have to be with your trainer? |

I have to get 275 driving hours with him, which equals out to about 6 Weeks. I'm in Albuquerque, NM today.

Finally finished over-the-road training. Now I'm waiting on a road test to see if I learned anything, then get my own truck.

Congratulations on finishing your over the road training. Just from reading your posts, it sounds like you've learned quite a bit. I'm sure you will ace your road test.

Aced the road test, and now I'm on my own.
Yesterday I got to see the famous Bonneville Salt Flats. And yes, they're flat...very flat. Dunno about the salt though. I couldn't get out to test it. The land speed record was safe too. I could only get my truck up to 65mph. |
