I apologize if this is off subject, but I would like to suggest the XP-58 chain lightning. It was a long-range fighter project from the 40s, similar in appearance to the p-61.

I'm going to resurrect this thread but with one stipulation: I only want suggestions from the late 1920s and 30s.

I've already got models of Junkers G-38, Martin B-10, Lockheed Model 10 Electra and General Aviation GA-43 in progress.

Looking thru my 3-views folder, I have: Fokker F-14, Northrop Delta, Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister, Airspeed Envoy, and the Douglas World Cruiser.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Handley Page Hampden and Heyford bombers - in fact many of their craft from the 20s and 30s are really interesting.

So late 30's classics that are desirable... and some that I can help with on drawings provided I can find them, or they are readily available places like the Paul Matt drawings.

Luscombe 8A
Consolidated NY-2
Douglas O-2 series
Mailplanes
Grumman Duck
Lockheed Hudson
O-47
Good Piper Cubs are always interesting
Aeronca Champ
Waco Company products
Cessna C-37
Consolidated P2Y-2
Curtis Sparrowhawk, with an Akron or Macon?
Interstate Cadet (Jelly Belly scheme, too?)
Probably some good flying boat options, too.

Anything with an interesting story that people connect with is more likely to be a good seller, especially if you tie the model you design to the story. I personally own a Luscombe at the time of writing, so that would be an insta buy and I could pass the link along to others that own one.

1930’s was the era of the long range flying boats. Any of them would be welcomed.
