Question about a KC-97 Stratofreighter

Hi. I am building your KC-97 Stratofreighter, obtained from Chris at Ecardmodels. The pages are numbered 1-12 but there are two page 7's. The page 7 marked "KC-97 Stratotanker" has a wing section and the one marked "Boeing 377" has a wing section, one fuel tank and two wing mounts. I can print two "377" pages to get the second fuel tank, but the refueller's pod and tail boom are also missing. I think a page is missing. Chris said to ask you.
Aside from this, the model is going together well.

Depending on the kit you have, Its quite possible you have a repainted model kit completed by Jeff. Also keep in mind....if you have the stratofreighter, it wouldn't have a boom. But would have the boom if it's the stratotanker.

Vince- As Robert said, there are may repaints of the standard model. If you could tell us which version of the kit you have that would aid immensely in helping us narrow down if there is an error.

I went through my files, and it looks like he got the C-97 MATS Atlantic version. The extra page 7 is an extra inner wing, but there is only one wing tank. I'll get the file fixed and send it to Ecards. And this is a version that doesn't have the boom.

*sidenote* When you get done with this one, post it here. It qualifies for my "Need pics" promotion.

OK, thanks. From what I read, "Stratotanker" was an unofficial nickname.
According to Wikipedia (which I know may not necessarily be the gospel) The plane was officially called "Stratofreighter". the KC-97 designation was a tanker, the C-97 designation was a cargo plane, and the 377 designation was the civilian airliner. So the MATS version was a C-97?

Yes, I plan to post pics. As a Cargo plane. And since it is going together so well, I want to get a tanker version as soon as I get this one done.

Here's a fast pic of progress to date: I will take better pics when done.

Wing tip: inboard engine doesn't appear to have the upper nacelle covers like the assembly drawings show. Is it supposed to?

Those are changes that Jeff made when he did the repaints. I don't know what he had in mind when he did them.
