Here's some shots of my H-3 fleet in another modeling medium. Color schemes are for the Coast Guard HH-3F from Kodiak Island, 703 TASS from Sumter AFB, SC, 20th SOS from Hurlburt Field, FL, and 71 ARRS from Elmendorf AFB, AK. Other schemes possible are for the Italian version, similar to the Coast Guard version, and a desert scheme from the first Desert Storm.

Correction for above post, 703 TASS was at Shaw AFB, located at Sumter, SC. Also forgot to mention the most famous color scheme, SEA tricolor from Viet Nam. I think there as also an all aluminium version used for testing the mid-air refueling probe. The probe on this aircraft was mounted on the aircraft's centerline rather than the left side like the production version.

Knife...Any chance of a closeup shot of the 71 ARRS HH-3E? I flew with them a couple of times in the early 70s, along with having pumped gas to them many times. Should Murphy release the H-3 (non Sea King version), I plan to repaint to those colors.

Sorry for the delay in getting the photos, Ashrunner, but it's been raining here lately. Here's some close-ups of the Alaskan USAF color scheme. The model doesn't look that great close up. If Murphy doesn't do this paint scheme for his model, I plan to make it. I was at the 71st ARRS from 1980-1983. I was then known as "Boy Pilot".
