Dutch Events

Hi everybody and specially our Dutch members;
2 events upcomming;
The Dutch cardboard manifestation from 16 till 23 October in the Dutch Airforce Museum and the Euro Scale Modeling ( together with the plastic guys ) on 22 October in Nieuwegein, Utrecht.
Mr Diderick A Bakker invited me to join both; I'll show the Ken West , Hustler, Blackbird and the X15, and the Ford Tri-motor, and some other stuff ,if i can get Neil ready in time..
I personally will be in Soesterberg on the 23 and in Nieuwegein on the 22, seeya!

I'll will be only in Nieuwegein. But i'm not yet decided what i show there.
but one of my ships will be there.(sorry no picture avaible).
I have to choose to fill my 2mtr tablespace.
So Billy and i hope a lot of other modellers...

Just brought my stuff to the Dutch Airforce Museum,Exhibition opens tomorrow, I personally will be there next Sunday, the last day, and in Utrecht on Saturday

Hello,

Incredible quick service in respect of the pictures.
Even before opening of the show there are already pictures.
And, as I was there myself this afternoon: the models are really
impressive.
But....
Don't forget the ships and the castle on exhibition.
They are as impressive as well.

In the other hall you can see a diorama of Schiphol Airport during the sixties. On a 4 x 4 meter table a lot will be visible.

Hope to welcome a lot of visitors, in Soesterberg as well in Nieuwegein.

If my car is fixed/ready tomorrow (friday), I will be in Nieuwegein as well.

Oh, one more question, does anyone selling there have the 1/250 scale HrMs Karel Doorman aircraft carrier kit in stock? It is one of the few Dutch ships I still want to build, but I'm a bit hesistant/wary of buying it online. If possible, could it be reserved for me?

Hi Legion.
I buy this ship on line by Scaldis. As you know a very trustfull shop to buy on line.
The package is very strong(and big)
I don't has any problem to recive my ship.

Here's the impressions from the Dutch Air-force Museum annual modeling exhibition,this is the exhibition for general public, and Ken's designs are very popular with kids, they love the big scale, and explaining them that they were made of paper, and that Neil was made of toilet-paper was the joke of the day.
The place is nice, and the different type of models make a strange contrast with the big planes..
I was there for today only, but I was very nice to meet PaperKosmonaut in person, he came to check out Neil
