I'd like to join the contest but it seems that Swanny's Models discriminates against Gmail users.

Last year's contest was very nice. It was a great opportunity to see beautiful models and to learn from the other participants. The people there at Swanny's is wonderful.

I have the intention to participate this year too. The time lapse is good enough to build something without hurries.

Did the same with my Gmail, so I used my backup Yahoo and had no problems..

the gmail thing is a bit of a pain as its my primary but luckily there are lots of other options

looking forward to the contest hope to see some paper armor!

For paper models there will be a specific category with a prize sponsored by Airdave.

wow, I missed this thread.

yes...thank you Ruben...I sponsored a "Best Paper Model" category since nothing was represented in that respect.
So far, I have put up both of my WW1 era Autocar kits as a prize.
I'm sure I'll probably add something else by the time the contest is done.

I also made sure all those "plastic" guys are aware that if they want to try a model from ecardmodels...
build it, enter it, take some photos and write a simple review
...they can get their money back and more!

Lots of time to enter this contest...its not done till mid November.
