Thumbs up Waddington Air Show 2012 (UK)

Hello!

I just came back from a very nice Waddington Air Show (30.06-01.07.2012).
The weather wasn't nice in the morning and show could be even cancelled, but later on it was OK.
There was a lot of big and small airplanes on the static display like: C-130 Hercules (Algeria/S. Arabia/Belgium), E-3D Sentry (UK), B-737AEW&C 'Wedgetail' (Australia), SAAB 340 AEW&C (Sweden), CASA 295 (Czech,Poland), M-28 Bryza (Poland), BAE Hawks (UK/S. Arabia), F-16's, F-4, OH-6, UH-1, Meteor, Gnat and many more...

On the air display we could see 'Black Eagles' from the Korea - for the wery first time in the Europe. There were also: Red Arrows, Frecce Tricolori, Saudi Hawks, Orlik Team, Red Devils.
A big attraction were also KDC-10, B-757 from New Zeland and RC-135 - all of them in the air.

Here are just some of the very first photos in a small size.

Talk about a varied collection of aircraft and countries represented! Do you have any pics of the other static aircraft?

Yes, I think I missed only one Hawk with special scheme and F-4 Phantom from Germany as we were asked to leave. (My car was the last on the empty car park) I only need some time to edit them, so please stay in touch.

And the last thing... 'Wedgetail' - it is the one of the B-737 model upgrades which I am thinking about!

The RC-135 Rivet Joint is from 5 miles down the road from me. They fly over my house all day long! I've had the idea of a RC-135 model for some time. I even got the go-ahead from Bob to modify his KC-135 model. Only time stands in the way. Oh, and design talent, of which I have none!

I would be really glad to live in a place like this!:-)
For now I am dealing with Corel and B-737 landing gear, but RC-135 could be a future concern.
