I'll be there! And once I figure out this annoying texture bug in Pepakura, I will bring some print outs of my models!

Fixed the texture bug. Or rather, user error. Setting bitmap quality to very high in Print options overrides the textures in Pepakura. So I just printed out 7 models (so far) in 6 colours.

Hi Gert!
This is terrible! I do not know which to attend, Modellbaumesse Wien 25. - 28.10.2012 or Euro Scale. Vienna is several hours closer. But I really want the new Scaldis Harbor Accessories set... Its also been a couple of years since I have been to the Nederlands. Decisions, decisions. I hope this years event is a great success. Kind Regards, Cris |

Euro Scale Modelling 2012
Hello,
I can make that decision very quickly for you: Schkeuditz - Nieuwegein is a distance of 604 kms. And it takes 5 hours and 53 minutes. Schkeuditz - Wien is a distance of 599 kms. And that takes 6 hours and 11 minutes. So take the shortest one: ESM in Nieuwegein. All acording to Google Maps. Anyhow: ESM is only 1 day, in Wien I saw in your mail it takes 3 days. So you can actually do both. ( Totals up to 2 x 1.200 = 2.400 Km.) If you really reach Nieuwegein I will pay your entrance personally. ( Let me page me during the day ) Kind regards, Gert Vlaanderen |

Hi Gert!
Thank you very much for your kind offer. It would have been nice to meet you after all these years of forum's. But the Mrs., THE BOSS, has determined she would prefer Vienna. Best Wishes for a successful event, I hope you will post some pictures for us. Kind Regards, Cris |

And who would blame her! Shopping in the Kärntnerstrasze, some real Sacher Torte, an Einspinner, perhaps a concert in the evening, a good meal... and Nieuwegein a New Town in the middle of nowhere...
Enjoy Vienna!! Regards, Diderick |

Euro Scale Modelling
Hello,
I don't understand Diederick. He is a participant himself and agrees that you go to Vienna. He forgets that UTRECHT is only a 5 minutes drive and also a very old and beautiful city, with a lot of possibilities!! Pictures will be found on www.ipms.nl almost the same evening that the event is closed. For all the others: Hope to see you all. Regards, Gert Vlaanderen President IPMS Nederland |
