Aircraft identify
Was loading up a group of photos I shot in Tacoma and at SeaTac in 2011. Was able to identify the others (correctly I hope) but no clue on this first one. A little help from you A/C maverns please. If you want to check out the other stuff here's the link: 2011-07-11_12 Tacoma SeTac - Wayne Hulsey (whulsey)'s Photos

The first one looks like one of the Bombardier Challenger models.

De Havilland Dash 8. First flight on one of those, it was pretty sweet :D/haha definitely did not read all of your post. The third photo is a Dash 8, you may have guessed that already.

That was quick. Googled them and it looks like you're correct. By the way if anyone looks at the photos and see something I've mis-identified would appreciate it if you let me know so I can correct the id caption.

I'm a plane spotting nerd. I have an app on my phone that all you do it correctly name different planes. I play quiz games on airliners.net too.
Glad I could help. |

I'm trying to learn more commercial aircraft and was wondering which app you use on your iPhone? I have an iPad, but I'm guessing it would work on it just fine. Or do you have any other ideas? Thnx. Swampfox |

Swampfox,
Don't have an iPhone, but I think the app I have is available for Apple stuff. I use "Name That Plane". You can select categories for pictures like commercial, military, x-planes, general, etc. Best part, it's free! You can also go to airliners.net and on top go to "Community" and then to "Member Fun", then "Aviation photo quiz". There are categories for that one as well. |
