It is an exceptionally congenial small group of paper modelers, and the USAHEC venue is a wonderful place to build models, chat with the visitors (many of whom are reenactors and living historians), visit the interactive museum, browse the vast selection of used books, and walk around the History Trail.
I regret I didn't have my camera ready when a 1812 Wyandotte warrior, an 1863 Union cavalry trooper, and 101st Airborne division paratrooper were talking with John Dell about the evolution of the B-17 design. I have some more images of the models that I will post this evening or tomorrow. Don |
