Tim, many thanks for the show report, and David, I wish you a speedy recovery. Glad to hear that the models were saveable, it says a lot about the robustness of paper models. I look forward to building many more of your kits.

All the best and happy modelling.

Bernie

Great news about your wrist recovering so quickly. Also great news about the models survivability. Need a tutorial on that one.

Again, David, my best wishes. And though this isn't by far important, it's still comforting that your models aren't lost and gone, either!

So, time for some questions:
What the ... is this?!?

And the next questions go directly to David, I presume:
When is the Raasay due for release?
And the telescopic handler? ((Admittedly, I'd hope for a download. I could use one for my z gauge layout, and so upscaling would be a piece of cake...)

Hi Michi

What the armoured car is - well that's a question for Tim Crowe (who built it). I vaguely remember it being Polish? and a home-made armoured car but I might be wrong.

The Raasay is not my model design - it is from the Predes Advent Calendar in 2011. I had it on my to-do list for a while and finally got round to making it. I tweaked the colours and window shading in Corel Draw and made the railings and front mast/gantry as a test for my new laser cutter. It came out well and I am very pleased with the result.

The telescopic loader came with the JSC Aura heavy load carrier ship - so unfortunately I cannot send you that either.

My wrist is doing very well - the support/brace they gave me to wear is now more annoying than helping!

All the best

David

Excellent show. I love that people are being educated about the joys of paper modelling.
I miss out on participating not having transport.

Keep up the good work all of you.
