Model show in Camberly UK
Following Tim's post, there is another show on 24 September.
Camberly is in Surry so there's no excuse for those who live south of the Thames! Tim must be getting tired of listening to me all day and he may also be pleased to have others there so he can get a rest from all the questions from visitors. So, we'd be pleased to meet fellow modellers either as exhibitors or visitors.. Cheers Mike |

you are a glutton for punishment!
Let's hope we can attract a few more people to bring along their models. Perhaps I should mention that there is no cost involved - although they do charge for the hamburgers and bacon rolls ;-) Cheers Mike |

Hi Tim and Mike, I don't think an extra table will be necessary at Camberley as I think I might have a way round it. For travelling with the Sd 14 I'm going to use part of an old cardboard packing crate is a foot wide and 7'4" long I also have another part of the packing crate that is the same length and is 2 feet wide. I was thinking of placing the 2 foot wide on top of two wooden square frames that are 6 inches wide and 18 in. Square. And placing the ship on top of this. I think the going up might be easier getting some extra tables only downside is it might mess up Tim's random table plan and the fact that we may not be able to see anyone standing the other side of the ship. Let me know if this is okay or if you think of a better way as I can leave the shelf the square frames at home. Look forward to seeing you both next Saturday.

David,
Once all the tables are in place, there's no extra space for displays. As you will see from the attached, all our boxes are under the tables - Tim is standing next the "public space" between two display areas. We even have problems finding somewhere to sit! The picture was taken at the show where we had more space than usual. Anyway, bring along your boxes and we'll work out something. See you Saturday Mike |

Mike I think you misunderstood my message i was proposing to place boxes on the tables and then place the SD 14 on top of these as in the picture
