Show report, part one

This was the first Milton Keynes model show for two years. We started off on a small table on the second floor. David then found us a more space a floor down. So we had plenty of space to spread out.

Displaying models was David, Piotr, myself. Also Corben made a visit to the stand.

End of part one

Tim

That's a great collection of models. Congratulations to David. I guess he was "competing" against plastic models, which makes it even better!!

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to MK - it's a bit too far for me.

Cheers
Mike

What a wonderful work you guys have displayed here! David fully deserved this first price. I have once participated in an model exhibition, which was dominated by plastic models, but once people found out that the models on display were in fact made of paper, they were usually amazed and showed a tremendous interest. In a way it's competing with plastic but on the other hand it's so very different, requiring different skills and certainly not more or less than plastic. Just different and amazing .

Thanks for sharing!
Erik

I couldn't make it either, I'm sorry to say, but I would have liked to see the models at first hand. There are some very nice ones there. I wonder, could you identify the Roman building for me? It's a beauty.

Its the Pantheon Rome. nice build but the dome ribs are a bit floaty and need some timing to get a good fit.
