International Paper Modelers' Convention 2023
I wanted to let everyone know that we're locked in for the next IPMC on 27-28 October 2023. The location and format will be basically the same as the 2022 convention. The display area rental prices will increase slightly, but I'm hoping that we can keep the registration cost the same as it was in 2022. Also, the hotel will be including a couple of "shoulder" reservations in the room block, so that you'll be able to reserve a room for Thursday and/or Sunday at the conference rate (this was an issue in 2022).
More to follow, but mark your calendars in the meantime! CSF&G, Peter A. |

I even remember what I was planning on building. And no, it wasn't going to be an astronaut.

Does anyone know the rules for Murph's Sow's Ear award? Do you have to build the pre-CAD model using the original paper or can you scan it?

If so, as long as I know the original source for the model, I don't care if it's a scanned copy or not. I already have a front runner for next year's award, assuming the builder gets it done, but it's still early and upsets can always happen. So build away. I know you can build something to vy for the title this year. Greg
