Exhibition of historical vehicles.

The city of Povazska Bystrica (Slovakia) is celebrating City Days this weekend, where, among other events, a small exhibition of veterans took place today in the city center. When I was a kid in early 80s one of my father relatives had red Jawa exactly like one on picture here. I remember it was very fast and very noisy bike but smell of oil and exhaust must have stayed with me because 20 years later I got my own bike-Yamaha 750 Virago.

Edit-thanks to that memory jog I just recalled one of my former neighbours in Poland. When we were about 15-16 his dad got him used Jawa 50cc that didn't work. They fixed it and guy was riding it for few years. He sold it when he went to firefighting school in another town. I think he retired just recently due to health issues. 25 years of firefighting will do that sometimes...
