I keep looking for someone to post some photos of the exhibits at the 2024 show. I didn't take any, expecting many to glean a few from. Still have hope!

Just maybe...
I am recovering from a respiratory infection this week but I might be able to help.
I swore to myself that I wouldn't do another Walk Thru, as it was a real demanding project last year. Working that Thread killed any building of mine own! However, I did take some pics and took some notes of interesting stories that I heard in the halls. I also collected some contacts to permit follow up efforts. It is actually very difficult to interview people on scene, as preferable as that is. Give me some convalescence time. I'll try posting a Thread with a little less ambition than my Walk Thru Thread. Hopefully someone else will fill that role this year...

Thanks!
Much appreciated, the well wishes. My condition is only temporary. Largely a result of overwork and long hours, I suggest!
Sometimes when your writing a Thread, you don't realize that the work is appreciated. You hear so little, and the hours of writing, researching, and editing are long. Its much more reading than a build thread. I won't be able to replicate the Walk Thru, as I didn't ask the right questions, and to be honest, I did feel it best if someone else took it over. After several years, it felt like I was repeating myself. I do have a different angle, a collection of photos and whispers, that I might scratch together for you...

We certainly do appreciate your detailed commentary on these conventions and the time you take to speak to all the participants and document their builds. You are to a great extent our archivist and journalist for the events.
