East Midlands Model Show (Hinckley) 2024
Gents

The U.K. Card Model Group had a display at this year's East Midlands Model Show in Hinckley.

We had a new member turn up with his latest build. This was the IJN Hiryu in 1:200 scale published by Angraf.

Sebastian had spent the last four years building it:













A truly outstanding model, it got a lot of attention.

David (Romanmodels) brought along a good selection of his builds to display.

















David's models were very well received with particular praise for the locomotive and tracked vehicles.

Piotr drove all the way from darkest Wales to show his models. Starting with his two Tiger builds.





Kamil, came all the way from Canterbury to display his models, and very nice they were too.

Overall it was a great day out, and the card models were well received.

Next show is Milton Keynes on Saturday 25th of May.

These were some of the finest builds that could have been presented as examples of our hobby.
As I commented on Facebook, I would like to know who made the amazingly realistic bobble hat in the centre of the display. It really is indistinguishable from the real thing...
