There are only 7 DASH's in various states of restoration currently displayed in museums, Pima has one of the seven, we have one of the seven and the Smithsonian has one of the seven.

The RA-5 should really be more famous than it is. As a bomber turned recon platform, it set the literal mold for so many subsequent fighters and fighter-bombers (and even one medium-large bomber): 2-D (rectangular) variable geometry inlets on the sides behind the cockpit, twin aft engines, shoulder-mounted wings, clipped delta-ish wing planform, heads-up display, and more. The main thing it's missing is twin tails, though apparently during the design process the North American engineers considered that as well before they went with a folding single tail. The one big miss was that rear eject bomb bay, d'oh.

An update of your Guppy plans to that Super Guppy would be pretty sweet, nudge nudge wink wink

where I could view all your fabulous photos and hear all you personal history. I can not remember all the things you've revealed here over the years, but I love it every time you post a photo augmented tidbit. ... That first photo Murph posted of the F-51 (modified) appears to be a turbine powered? Oh, Piper Enforcer. So not a Mustang. But thats a Mustang tail, isnt it.
