I agree, facebook is free, readily available and not intrusive. It will be a good guage of the interest.

Good to be back!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that cpm (canada-paper-modelers group) now has a Community Message Site!

A simple message Board/Forum that will serve as "base of operations" for cpm.

[At some point, I still intend on creating a simple standalone Website for cpm]

I'd like to invite all the "fans" from cpm-facebook to drop by the new "headquarters" and sign up.
Anyone else interested in joining cpm is also invited to stop by!

The Board is located at www.cpm.yuku.com

Still hoping to get people involved with the CPM group and new forum.

I did a little bit of work, creating some topical Forum areas.
And, I just added a Forum for Canadian themed Models.

I thought it might be cool to collect links and info
on Card Models with a strictly Canadian relevance.

I started by posting a link to Stahlharts CF-18 Fighter models.
(CF-18 is the Canadian version of the F-18, in case you didn't know)

If you have (or know of) any Canadian themed models, please feel free to post some info and/or links.

I believe DGA did a few Canadian T-33s, but I can't be sure.

Oh they did more than a few. In fact I am staring at one of them right now! I think they ended up with at least 3 and maybe up to a good 1/2 doz. different CDN paint schemes. They also did a bunch of DHC Beavers with Canadian paint schemes.

Fiddlers Green as a whole ton of variant paint schemes of Canadian origin. Off the top of my head there is one for the JN4 Jenny, one for the DC-3, 2-3 for the Tiger Moth, the Avro Areocar, and probably more I cant think of right now.

I just checked the DGA section at Ecardmodels. There are 8 CT-33 schemes. Plus, the other Canadian planes mentioned already.

Well, the cpm site has been up for about a year now...and interest has been pretty low.
haha which is surprising, I thought Canadians were a more patriotic bunch.

Anyway, the site will stay there for those who wander by.

I'd like to invite all to check out one of the main features of the canada paper modelers site...
the "STRICTLY CANADIAN" section.

My idea was to locate all the Canada themed or related Card Models
and I am still looking for more submissions.

So, if you have the time and interest, stop by, check out the list so far
and if you know of more, please sign up and post.

With such features as Roll up to Win techiniques and dealing with the Harper Government.
