Letchworth Model Show
Went to a local model show today. This was held by the Letchworth Scale Model Club (http://letchworthsmc.yolasite.com/)
This was held in Letchworth, Britains first Garden City (Letchworth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) I went with the usual gang from the Bedford model club (Bedford and District Scale Model Club) The show itself was very small, though it did seam to have a reasonable turn out, and was a good chance to meet fellow modellers. The standard was very high and there were lots of displays of figures and flats. I've taken loads of photos here are a few of them. Comments are added if I feel they are needed. Tim The display area was not much bigger than a school hall and stage area Our custom made display stand of perspex and aluminium My usual two models - if I ever finish my A7V i will bring that A close up of a larger armoured train More pics shortly |

The St.Pauls model is a beta build, hopefully available soon. The level of detail on this MicroModel HMS Vanguard was amazing. My personal favorite was this crane. Have seen many flats close up, the painting on some of them was excellent |

Last lot, hopefully not too boring:
These three tractors are a personal favorite. A large Napolionic diorama, lots going on here. I think they used real mud too. My personal best in show. Hope you liked the photos No more shows now till September at Brampton. Tim |
