Re: Enfeild L85A2

Looking good.

Are you planning to do the LSW version with the bipod. Also there is the grenade launcher option.

Re: Enfeild L85A2

That looks really good.

It might be worth checking but the barrel on the carbine looks a little long compared to some pictures I've seen. Also the version used by vehicle crews does not have the scope but open sights, (maybe)?

Re: Enfeild L85A2

i have pictures of the scope on all versions. heres a comparison. the barrel sticks out the same on both. just the fore grip is shortened.

Re: Enfeild L85A2

Maybe the scope was a supply issue and the crew weapon was the last to receive it.

Why reduce the fore grip and call it a carbine? It don't see the point, unless it is to mount stuff hanging from the barrel, like a torch etc.

The attached drawing was what I thought a carbine looked like.

Re: Enfeild L85A2

the barrel is shorter on the carbine. it just sticks out of the fore grip the same amount. i dont know the reasons for it but it looks as though the carbine is only a couble inches shorter.
