I don't know if it helps, but here's a photo of the USS Langley model on display at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. It might help with some of the small details. Thanks for taking on this project, I look forward to your updates.

If you can, the game World of Warships has the Langley at tier 4. The designers have put a lot of detail into the model(s). Might be worth a gander!

knife- i found a photo sequence of that model that has pictures fore to aft.

Legion- i did take screen shots fore to aft on it.

thanks to everyone else who is taking an interest in this project.

skinning in progress. had some minor issues i had to resolve. and i have one issue i am not sure whats going on but i need more skin on to assess. i suspect a few minor errors in former construction or cutting is the problem.
