the xm8 is undergoing feild trials now as possible replacement to the m16. the same people also made a 40 mm grenade launcher that looks similar in design that is being feilded now.

Is there any chance of a Winchester 1873 '1 in 1000' maybe?.... how difficult would it be to make the under lever actually work?

I vote for the mg42. I am biased, I actually got get behind one of those on full auto! That was something I will never forget! I need one to mount on my wall.........maybe a pair flanking the door on the way out......

Well, the MG42 could also be used as a basis for the M56 smart-gun from aliens...

(still voting for the MG 34 though.)

johnl- what year? makes a big difference.

malc- definately.notsure about the lever id have to study it.

mousemufins1- the mg 34 could be the basis for a stormtrooper gun (not the one based on the sten)
