or if he plans to distribute it (in any fashion).

I also have no idea if Chris is even interested in this type of model for the store...thats all between him and Nothing.

My repaint is full of flaws and would require much tweaking and modification.

If Nothing did decide to release this model and asked that I offer up a repaint version, I might consider it...

but for now...I can't offer up anything, sorry.

I drew this cartoon picture of a Cessna Caravan a few years back when I was a FedEx Feeder pilot. Maybe someone is interested in designing a paper model of it? I would love to have a 3D model of my artwork, and I think it would be fun to build...

Love the Warthog, by the way!

Hey, that A-10 totally rock! Did you model it from the aircraft caricature artist Pat cherry?

darhymes...good place to start your design career?

and what a wild coincidence?!!
your cartoon is pretty cool...a lot more than my little doodles.
and your idea (make a model from a cartoon) is cool too.

and thats the coincidence...
a few days ago, I was doodling on a scratch pad
(as I usually do when watching movies and stuff at my desk PC)

and I doodled this P47....
and of course, I am currently working on P47 models,
so it hit me....

I have no idea if it's gonna work...but I'll share the build if it does.

Thanks for the kind words, Dave. I also have some cartoons of other planes I have flown...the Lear 35, Shorts 360, and my Pitts Special. They would all make interesting models and would lighten up my collection of historic aircraft a bit. If I get a little better at all this cutting, folding and gluing, I just might give design work a try. That's a pretty good sketch of the P47!

Your A-10 charicature is fabulous. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, and any more you'd care to design.
