And the FN was battle-sighted out to 800 metres...a nice statistic to have in your hip pocket if Ivan was giving you a particularly bad time.
Too bad that it was such a SOB to keep clean under field conditions.... I also like the Stirling SMG. And the cute little clips for them that were mounted on our Iltis Canadians..... Jim

I don't remember if I read this recently or not, but how about the XM-8?
H&K XM-8 Or Gen. Patton's Colt M-1873 Revolver with the Ivory grips? General Patton's Pistols |

well nothing already has an XM-8 and a colt SAA with myriad grip otions and even blued and nickel versions, throw some engraving on the nickel one and a fresh set of grips and a lanyard ring and BAM patton colt lol, or you could just download Gary Pilsworth's version

As a retired Brit. Squaddie, can I add my vote for the SLR (FN), and for a designer of your skill level, a Stirling SMG and the earlier Sten guns should be just a weekend project, but eagerly awaited.
An LMG (or earlier Bren gun) would also be much appreciated, but finding shelf space could be a problem. Johnny. PS: Any chance of a drum magazine and civvie style front hand grip for the Tommy gun ? |

Of course the FN C2 was a lot of fun to shoot as well. |

Ah Yes! The good old C2!! The Cdn equivalent of what the Yanks call the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)...ROCK and Roll!!!
Lordy, If all of this nostalgia keeps up, my beer will get salty and hard to drink..... The FN was easy to clean. It was keeping it clean and operational under field conditions (read: Petawawa, Gagetown, Wainwright, Shilo, etc) that was the challenge....

I would love to see a model of the M60 or even the M249 SAW. I use to carry the SAW when I was in the Army.
