MD600 NOTAR in 1/40
My next entry - does it look like a mouse, I mean a mouse for the computer, at this stage? The canopy and fuselage are so curvy that I have to do a lot of sanding and filling until I'm satisfied. So for now this is the "before" and hope to finish the "after" soon.

On paper models I have never had the nerve to fill and sand. I'd be afraid of making things worse. You've done a very good job on it. Do you use paints, pen, or chalk to color the filled areas?

Thanks, Vermin King. The whole model in its 2-D stage was given a coat of clear paint and laminated on 180 gsm paper before putting the parts together. Thus, when dry, the whole thing feels solid enough to sand and fill. I painted it but was not quite satisfied with the slits appearing all over. So I used plaster of paris, and subsequent a little of bit filler for plastic models to fill all the slits, cracks or whatever you call them. Finally, gave it a sanding treatment that lasted for almost an hour. What comes next should be repainting it, I'm struggling whether to use hand-painting or spray-painting............

The chopper is now finished, hand-painted. Rotor blades are "wired" to prevent drooping. Of course, they rotate.
