Personally I think the T-70 or T-72 would be pretty cool, but they're all good.

Tracks are finished....
The first image is the two track lengths - one of which is bent backwards - just to show the build technique makes flexible tracks. I made the grousers a bit thicker than than the specified 0.5mm - I thought that made the grousers look a bit skinny. It's striking how asymmetrical the Tiger tracks were - the second image is a comparison between the Tiger track and the Porsche Tiger track which was much more conventional in design. The heap of roadwheel parts is just that - a heap. Next task is to make roadwheels out of it. Regards, Charlie |

The tracks look great, Charlie. I'm really impressed with your tackling this kit. I take it out every once in a while and look at it, shudder in fear, and put it away.
Forgive my ignorance, but didn't the Tiger use two different sets of track? A thinner, more conventional set for "city" driving and these wider ones for open country? Or am I just misremembering again? Chris |

AH, thanks for the clarification. I didn't get too much of that one right, did I? Oops.

Impressive heap of wheelments, Charlie! Looks like you have gotten much of the drudgery out of the way.

Won't make the deadline with the Tiger but I'll eventually get it finished.
