I have nothing against the Corsair in any form (especially when designed and modeled by you know who - I bought them both!) but I have some reservations about other aircraft looking like Corsairs. A similar point loss would be incurred if the Judy ended up looking like a Mustang or a P-51. <<Waiting for someone to take the bait>>

Wow, let's get back on track...this is a seeerious competition, reputations are at stake and the outcome could determine the future course of cardmodeling!
Gremir...thanks for the rear gun info, not much data available on this plane, seems like there should be more. From the looks of this picture it looks like I should have wrinkled the paper, straightened it back out and then started building. If this build gets progressively worse I'll be falling back on this example of the real thing |

It looks like it was built by a bunch of guys with ball peen hammers! There's a prototype for darn near anything, I guess.

Decided to make tail hook movable.
Now to move on to the front of fuselage, lots of pieces here...somewhat confusing. |
