Fini!
Well, she's complete. And not like I cut it close or anything...
More pic's to come tomorrow when it's less likely things will fall off :D

Hooray! We clocked in at exactly the same time, Dan. But I must admit that yours looks better. Congratulations! I'm glad we did it and I look forward to my next build -- without a time limit!

Wow, Dan! Except for a couple of minimally noticeable alignment problems (not yours), it looks like the result of skilled hands on a modern kit. Congratulations! A really neat job.

Great job!
That little radar loop on top (or whatever it is!) should make a great hanging mount

Yay! Congratulations! She came out looking fine indeed. I've got to try and track down a copy of this model. Great job on the antenna!

Here's a pic showing my trick for the antennae. Made from latchhook 'mesh' and colored with a metallic silver sharpee. I ruined one trying to 'smooth' out the notches - and ended up leaving them as cut.

Great idea for the Yagi antenna, Dan.
I've been going back to review this build. You really did a fine job on a very challenging model. You did full justice to a grand old airplane and I like the historical notes that you included. Now, about that Wahlfische . . . Don |
