That's usually it. Make the formers fit the skin, and be sure to keep you matching pairs of formers the same size and shape. remember that circumference = Π*d so you won't need to remove a lot of material

Here is the latest evidencary photograph

I have been busy with the cockpit, and the seat, and shaping those formers to fit nicely

Yes I have cut out the cockpit frame, now just to inlay plastic for the glasswork

Hmmmmm. Glue bottle lying sideways on worktable. Cap of glue bottle lying on worktable. Probable puddle of glue creeping toward otherwise excellent model under construction whilst modeler fiddles with computer mouse. Jaws of forceps pointed menacingly toward viewer.

Very evidentiary!

Here is my 5th picture into the build thread, maybe no model parts showing, but a cause of my delay in building

Meet OJ, he is my brother's cat which I take care of when my brother is up at his job in Lebanon Pa.

That photo brought a tear to my eye. He is the spitting image of my late Angus Bumford McTavish. Angus was too fat and lazy to mess with anything except our younger psychotic cat, Bridget McGillicutty who gets into everything and is a world champion hairballer to boot! Cat pics definitely count toward qualifying the build thread.

as with most cats, this one doesn't like to be ignored, and when I am working on a model section he must make his displeasure known by meowing, and pawing at me for attention.

so I have to attend to him for a bit, then i can get back to building

C'mon Rick, you can't let a cat stop you!
Just think, after you're done you can watch Stallone's Cobra over and over!
